Lisa Sivell has been a member of The NCC (Soprano I) since June 1999. She just finished a five-year term with The Choir's Concert Care Committee, serving as the Chairperson for the last two years. She states that the most memorable and rewarding experience of being a member of The NCC was when she and her husband, also a member and past President of The NCC, gave their testimonies and ministered through song on The Choir's 20th Anniversary celebration cruise to Alaska in July 2004.

Currently, Lisa is finishing her 10th year as a high school Guidance Counselor in Howard County Public Schools. Before moving to Howard County, she was a Special Education teacher in Anne Arundel County.

Lisa, her husband, Mike, and their cat, Calvin, reside in Columbia, Maryland. They are members of Chapelgate Presbyterian Church where Lisa sings with the Ladies' Ensemble.
