As The NCC's Founder, Music Director and Executive Director, Harry Causey is an integral part of The Choir. Formerly a freelance Minister of Music, Harry is nationally known for his compositions, arrangements, and worship facilitation at churches and church conferences. He was a full-time Minister of Music in Cincinnati, Ohio, and in Washington, D.C., until he founded The NCC in 1984. Harry's voice can be heard each week over the air waves through the United States, its territories, and all Canadian provinces as he hosts The NCC's radio program, Psalm 95.
Harry is a published author of
three books and over 100 choral
works through a variety of
publishers. He is an
orchestrator, having contributed
many custom orchestrations to
The NCC library of recordings.

A graduate of Davidson College
with a BA degree in music, Harry
earned a master's degree in
music composition at Florida
State University before studying
choral conducting at the
Cincinnati College-Conservatory
of Music. In 1980, he was
ordained as a minister through
the Evangelical Church
Alliance. In 2006, he was
honored with an Honorary Doctor
of Divinity Degree from Antietam
Bible Seminary.
Harry and his wife, Elizabeth, live in
Frederick, Maryland. They have two
children, David and Debbie, and
six grandchildren.
