MEMBER SPOTLIGHT: Kirk Mize - Baritone

"No more night, no more pain, no more tears," sang the soloist as his warm baritone voice filled the room. The light in his eyes and the joy on his face showed the peace in his heart, for Kirk Mize knows and loves the Lord Jesus Christ. Raised in a Christian family, he gave his heart to Christ in Vacation Bible School when he was ten years old, and he loves to sing of his Savior.

A native of Irving, Texas, Kirk is a real southwesterner at heart. He especially loves small college towns throughout Texas, New Mexico, and Colorado. That's because of his roots and partly because he met his wife, Nancy, the love of his life, while working for the Air Force in Colorado. It was a job with the U.S. government that brought him and his family to the Washington, D.C. area in 1999. He currently works for the Office of Personnel Management.
